Discover the Power of Allyship
In the wake of police incidents against people of color, harassment of marginalized communities and community protests coming into public view as they never have before, organizations large and small have sought to address the problematic issue of race, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace in new ways more than ever before. This session will discuss corporate employees’ experience with social injustice in the workplace from a first-person perspective of what occurs and what can be done to help; racial reconciliation; and, personal and corporate allyship that can strengthen everyone’s business environments. The presentation is followed by a 30-minute open conversation with no holds barred. Ask any question; make any comment. Anyone interested in a frank, candid conversation about diversity in the workplace is welcome. Employees at all levels and experience will benefit from this crucial conversation.
