Kim McCartney is the Executive Assistant to a Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, working in the Civil Government sector of the firm. Prior to Booz Allen, Kim spent 10 years in retail management where she interviewed, hired, trained, and assessed as many as 30 part time employees and 4 full time managers. She also facilitated customer service orientation for incoming staff, and training all newly hired managers for their first 30 days. Kim was an executive assistant at Coca-Cola and also worked at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, where she organized two major academic workshops. After previously serving on a local chapter’s Board, she helped mold a newly created internal administrative community for Booz Allen that provides education and networking opportunities to all administrative professionals. Kim also serves as their National Team Captain for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In addition to being CAP-OM certified, she also holds an ACEA certificate.
