Alyson Hong is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. In addition to calendering and administrative support, she leads and oversees strategic initiatives and long-term projects originating from the Dean’s Office, helping to drive key priorities forward across the school. With a focus on stakeholder engagement, Alyson works closely with diverse teams and leadership to support the school’s mission and operational excellence. Alyson brings over eight years of experience to her work, with a professional background that
includes roles at industry leaders such as Google and Pottery Barn. Her career has spanned corporate, retail, and academic environments, giving her a well-rounded perspective and deep project execution expertise. Committed to continual growth, Alyson returned to school to earn her MBA with a specialization in Project Management, holds CAMP (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification,
and is certified in Lean Principles for Process Improvement. She combines strategic insight with operational rigor to contribute meaningfully to sustainable impact at Stanford and beyond.
