Jackie is the Administrative Operations Manager at Stanford University and co-founder of the Stanford Administrative Champions (SAC), a vibrant community of practice for administrative professionals. She began her Stanford career in 2017 as the executive assistant to the CFO of the School of Medicine, providing comprehensive support to both the CFO and the senior staff while managing the administration of the Fiscal Affairs department.
With nearly 18 years of experience in administrative roles spanning corporate, medical, and higher education settings, Jackie refined her skills as an executive assistant at Stanford. In 2018, alongside four other women, she co-founded the Stanford Administrative Champions. Since its inception SAC has evolved into a university-wide community, fostering innovation and collaboration among administrative professionals. The core team, composed of ten participants, leads a dynamic leadership structure that rotates every two years, ensuring equitable opportunities for emerging leaders. SAC’s initiatives include a successful mentorship program with four cohorts annually, a fellowship initiative for community college students from underrepresented groups, and governance of three committees focused on organizing events for the administrative community, emphasizing information sessions, professional development, and networking. Additionally, SAC publishes a newsletter, maintains an administrative website, and operates a morale committee that recognizes outstanding administrative staff throughout the year.
Jackie’s advocacy for the administrative community is evident in her successful efforts to secure title changes, promotions, and professional development opportunities for her team. In recognition of her contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), she was nominated for the IDEAL Honoree Award in 2023, was a finalist for the Leadership Admin Award in 2024, and won the Team Achiever Award alongside her esteemed colleagues. Deeply committed to designing and implementing programs that yield meaningful results, Jackie fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment. Her passion lies in unlocking the potential of diverse talent and driving initiatives that create a lasting impact.
